Seawall Construction & Repair

Protecting South Florida waterfront properties with engineered seawall systems built to withstand decades of salt, tide, and storm.

Seawall Services

Seawalls Are All We Build

Your seawall keeps your property from eroding into the water. When it fails, you lose land and the repair costs add up fast.

We only do marine construction. Our team handles design, permits, and building for Broward and Palm Beach waterways, from the Intracoastal to residential canals. We build to current NAVD88 elevation requirements so your wall passes code now and stays compliant. New vinyl sheet pile walls or repairs on old concrete, we build it to last.

Seawall Repair & Restoration

Structural crack repair, panel replacement, and complete wall restoration to extend the life of your existing seawall by decades.

Cap Replacement

Reinforced concrete and aluminum cap installations that seal your seawall from water intrusion and provide a finished, clean appearance.

Erosion Control

Rip-rap placement, geotextile fabric systems, and soil retention solutions that stop land loss and protect your property line.

Tie-Back Installation

Galvanized and stainless steel tie-back rod systems anchored into deadman footers to reinforce walls against hydrostatic pressure.

Soil Stabilization

Polyurethane injection and backfill compaction to eliminate voids behind your seawall and prevent catastrophic sinkholes.

Warning Signs

When to Call Us About Your Seawall

Seawall problems don't fix themselves. They get worse. Recognizing these warning signs early can save you tens of thousands of dollars and prevent catastrophic property damage.

  • Visible cracks or fractures running along the seawall panels
  • The seawall is leaning, bowing, or tilting toward the water
  • Soil erosion or sinkholes forming behind the wall
  • Water seepage through joints, cracks, or weep holes
  • Displaced, crumbling, or missing cap stones along the top

FAQ

Seawall Questions & Answers

A properly constructed seawall in South Florida typically lasts 30 to 50 years depending on the material. Vinyl sheet pile walls tend to outlast concrete in our saltwater environment because they resist corrosion. Regular maintenance and prompt repairs can significantly extend the lifespan of any seawall system.
The answer depends on the severity of the damage. Minor cracks, small voids, and cap deterioration can usually be repaired at a fraction of the replacement cost. However, if your wall is leaning more than 2 inches, has widespread panel failure, or is older than 40 years, a full replacement is usually more cost-effective in the long run. We offer free inspections to help you make an informed decision.
For South Florida's saltwater canals and Intracoastal properties, we recommend vinyl sheet pile as the primary material. It's impervious to salt corrosion, marine borers, and UV degradation. Concrete seawalls are also excellent when reinforced with epoxy-coated rebar. We custom-engineer each project based on soil conditions, water exposure, and budget.
Seawall costs depend on linear footage, material selection (vinyl vs. concrete vs. hybrid), soil conditions, water depth, access for equipment, tie-back requirements, and permitting complexity. Most residential seawall projects in Broward and Palm Beach counties range from $500 to $1,200 per linear foot. We provide detailed, transparent estimates with no hidden fees.
Yes. In Broward and Palm Beach counties, seawall construction and major repairs require permits from the city, county, and often the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Our team handles the entire permitting process, including engineering drawings, environmental impact documentation, and agency coordination. This is included in every project.
